Privacy Policy
TimeSight – Privacy Policy
Effective date: 27.9.2025
TimeSight is a simple timer and focus app. We respect your privacy and designed the app to work without collecting, storing, or sharing any personal data.
Information We Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
- No accounts or sign-in
- No analytics or ads
- No telemetry or tracking
All app behavior runs on your device only.
On-Device Data
Timer state and your UI preferences (e.g., theme, brightness) are used in-memory while the app is open. We do not upload this data anywhere. Uninstalling the app removes all app data from your device.
Permissions & Why We Use Them
- Do Not Disturb access (Special Access: Notification Policy)
Used only when you toggle the in-app DND switch, to set the system interruption filter (e.g., Priority or All). We do not read notification content or message text. - Wake lock (keep screen on during a session)
Prevents the display from sleeping while the timer is running. - Internet
The app does not send any data to our servers. (This permission may be present due to the app framework; the release app does not use it for networking.)
You can grant or revoke DND access anytime in Android Settings → Apps → Special app access → Do Not Disturb access.
Data Sharing
We do not share any data with third parties.
Children’s Privacy
TimeSight is not directed to children under 16. We collect no personal data.
Security & Retention
Because we don’t collect personal data, we don’t retain any. Data shown in the app stays on your device.
Changes to This Policy
If we make changes, we’ll update this page and revise the Effective date.
Maintenance & Discontinuation
Tiffany Armitage reserves the right to discontinue development or support of TimeSight at any time. Existing purchasers will retain access to the latest available version.
